AVR Fuse Bit Doctor - SMD

When purchasing used ATMega ICs, the chips are often unreadable by programmers or the programmer is unable to write to them.  This is because the fuse bits were set incorrectly or became corrupted or were intentionally locked in their previous use.

This device allows you to unlock the IC so that you will be able to re-program it.

Comes with included adapter that supports SOIC-8, SOIC-20, TQFP32 and TQFP44 packages.

The operation is simple:  either solder or hold the chip in place with downward pressure on the correct footprint on the adapter and insert the 12v power source (not included) into the adapter.  The adapter will immediately begin its work.  A green light indicates the completion of the fuse bit reset.
